Mission Statement:

The Temple of All Gods promotes the positive enrichment and alchemical transformation of the world known traditionally as "the Great Work." Our tools include: the fine arts, education, spiritual practice, syncretism, community networking, and social service. We see the universe as an interdependent web in which all things are mutually influential; therefore the health and well-being of all life is to be valued. In pursuit of this aim, we support improving the collective intelligence of humanity through the advancement of Science · Art · Magick.

About Us:

The Temple of All Gods was originally founded in the Fall of 1999 as an interdisciplinary spiritual arts group. The group currently meets both online and in local venues to explore the intersection of art, spirituality science, and culture. Some of our work manifests publicly in works of art, acts of service, culture jamming, and interactive performance ritual. Our work can also at times be focused inwards on personal transformation, spiritual experimentation, and philosophical adventuring. The Temple of All Gods promotes the accomplishment of the Great Work through every means possible and this includes both inner and outer work. At any given time, one of these faces may dominate.

Organization:

TAG as an organization is constantly evolving to meet the needs of its current community. The current system evolved organically to facilitate the different interests and projects of its members and foster community that supports our members passions and interests. Individuals can affiliate with currents, pods, and clusters.

  • Currents: In order to facilitate personal transformation, members choose a current, or focus for personal development if you will, they would like to work on and affiliate with others who are also focusing their development on similar areas. TAG's utilizes an ogdoadic color-based model to layer associated concepts and life themes. For example: the Orange current is linked to mercury and covers themes such as knowledge, higher education, science, language, and technology. Someone may affiliate with the orange current for a variety of reasons but some examples are as follows: if they are experimenting with computers, trying to increase their communication or reasoning skills, or are focused on completing a degree in higher education. We find that all of these different types of development tend to synthesize well together and therefore create the Orange current. As a persons focus changes, they simply move to another current that is more fitting. Click here for more information on the Currents.
  • Clusters: Similar to the idea behind affinity groups, clusters represents collections of individuals with specific interests. Individuals can associate with as many clusters as they have interests. Each cluster has its own forum for sharing information. planning projects, and discussing topics that interest them with individuals that share their interest. In order for a cluster to exist, there must be at least three people that share that interest and express a desire to further their knowledge in that arena. Clusters often help contribute to the growing body of knowledge that is our community website through writing articles and dissiminating the knowledge gleaned in discussion and research. A sample of clusters currently active in TAG: magick, culture jamming, electronics, art, and sacred sexuality. Click here for a listing of current Clusters.
  • Pods: Unlike clusters which are ongoing affinity groups, pods are more active and represent groups of people that come together to do specific work over varying lengths of time. Some pods come into existence to complete a specific project and then cease to exist whereas other pods stay perpetually active by moving from one project to another along a similar theme. Wheras clusters come together to share ideas, pods come together to create and manifest in the world. Click here for a listing of active Pods.
